Corey Ryan was born with muscular dystrophy. Muscular Dystrophy is a group of diseases that causes muscles to become weaker and lose mass over time. The condition is caused by changes in the genes that make proteins needed to form healthy muscles. With this diagnosis, most would expect a life time of struggles and obstacles.   

Corey was blessed enough to have a wonderful support system that gave him the confidence, strength, and tools needed to live in a world that does not think about the needs of those born with disabilities. But not everyone born with a disability is blessed with the support needed to succeed.

With that in mind, Corey started the non-profit The Future Is Foundation LTD. The Future Is Foundation LTD is dedicated to creating a more inclusive and empowering world for individuals with disabilities. We strive to enhance autonomy, self-determination, and independence. Our mission is to provide vital resources, advocate for equitable opportunities, and support initiatives that enable individuals with disabilities to fully engage and thrive in society. We envision a future where everyone has the freedom and support to live their life to the fullest. At The Future Is Foundation, we believe that the future is what you make it.
